Series which have ended are easy to watch nowadays because everyone nowadays used to binge watching than streaming each episode one by one at their premiering date. Binge-watching, also called binge-viewing or marathon-viewing, is the practice of watching content for a long time span, usually a single television show.

5. White Collar (2009-2014):
                                         

White collar is one of my favorite crime, drama series I've ever watched. The series revolves around  a white collar criminal who agrees to help the FBI catch other white collar criminals using his expertise as an art and securities thief, counterfeiter, and conman. Matt Bomer amazed every audience using great style in his acting performance and he nailed his role perfectly. White Collar has every genre I like such as Humor, Bromance, Drama and incredibly wonderful actors like Matt Bomer, Willie Garson, Tim DeKay.  I love this series because of the intelligent dialogues, incredible plans, and improvisations, moral dilemmas and a little bit of love. I really miss this show and I hope to see some similar shows in future.

4.  Game of Thrones (2011-2019): 

                              

Game of Thrones is a great fantasy, adventure genre based series. Game of Thrones has a amazing plot where seven noble families fight for control of the mythical land of Westeros. Friction between the houses leads to full-scale war. All while a very ancient evil awakens in the farthest north. Amidst the war, a neglected military order of misfits, the night's watch, is all that stands between the realms of men and the icy horrors beyond. The cast of this series is huge where it takes around 2 seasons to remember every character names correctly and every actors has done their work up to the task. I really love the music and soundtrack very much and very suitable for the storyline and its unpredictable twist and turns. The special effects and background settings are very wonderful to watch in this series. The last 2 seasons which are the worst part of Game of Thrones and I didn't really like except for those 2 seasons I can't say GoT is the best show anymore. It's no longer a show. It's an Epic that no other show can touch. I hope that the prequel series will be as great as Game of Thrones.

3. Sherlock( 2010-2017):

                                    

Sherlock is the  best mystery, crime series I've ever watched. Sherlock is the story where Sherlock Holmes and his partner Dr. John Watson solve crimes in 21st century London. The cast of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson was perfectly assigned to Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. These two actors nailed their characters extraordinary. Rest of the cast like Andrew Scott and Mark Gatiss also done their job up to the task. I really like the lighting and color grading in this series. The music and soundtrack was very astonishing. The plot was simply fabulous and the show is so intelligent. There are series with episodes that last for 45 minutes and in the middle of it you're just so bored. And there's Sherlock with 90 minutes per episode and it's still not enough. There is no way you could be bored in the 90 minutes run time of episodes.Sherlock is such a great series with the intelligent storyline and genius dialogues.

2. Chernobyl(2019-2019):

 


I had read about the disaster before I came to know about the show so I was not excepting much of a surprise. But I was totally wrong. To see the events unravel from the eyes of people who were in that place as and when it happened is something else. The show is deeply intense and borderline disturbing. The cast, screenplay, lighting and music is so apt for the story.  Chernobyl dramatize the story of the 1986 nuclear accident-one of the worst man-made catastrophes in history-and the sacrifices made to save Europe from unimaginable disaster. One of the greatest series I've ever watched. This series contains only 5 episodes but it is the scarier than most of horror movies or series in that it is a dramatization of actual, real life horror experienced by thousands of people on that fateful April 1986 morning and the years followed. It's difficult to watch, but certainly makes it a must watch.

1.Breaking Bad (2008-2013):

 

Breaking Bad is my favorite crime genre series of all time. Breaking bad has an amazing storyline where the protagonist Walter White, a chemistry teacher, is diagnosed with stage 3 cancer and given a prognosis of two years left to live, he chooses to enter a dangerous world of drugs and crime with the intent to secure his family's financial security. Breaking Bad is the best TV show I've ever watched, I will forever be grateful to Vince Gilligan and the writers for these amazing 5 seasons. The crew, the cast, the writers, color grading, music, soundtrack, everything is absolutely wonderful. Bryan and Aaron do a great work here I love them both for their astonishing acting performances. I'm speechless about how great this TV show is. Breaking Bad is totally another level than the normal TV shows that are usually watched.

The year 2019 was filled with lot of wonderful movies and we came into knowing of new films from great filmmakers like Quentin Tarantino (Once up on a time in Hollywood ) and Martin Scorsese (The Irishman). The year is filled with great films from both known and unknown filmmakers.

8. Once up on a time in Hollywood:
                                                  
Once up on a time in Hollywood is the 9th film of Quentin Tarantino. The movie revolves around the time period of 1969. The both TV actor Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) moves into their final years of Hollywood's golden age. This film depicts the good relationship of the TV actor and his stunt double as almost Bromance type relationship. There's some comedy dry mixed with a tiny bit of action. I felt that Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio had done their roles perfectly and the color grading was very suitable to movie which makes the movie interesting to watch.

7. Knives Out:
                     
Knives out is the best crime detective genre movie of 2019. Knives Out had done a very good job in casting of actors. Chris Evans and Daniel Craig's performance was wonderful. Knives out has a great storyline that when a wealthy patriarch dies at his birthday party, two detectives are sent to investigate his death, and find a strange family in the thrones of extreme dysfunction. I really like the cinematography and the acting performance of every cast members. This movie is literally impossible to predict where the movie was going.  I loved the storyline and how it unfolded; it was captivating and kept me on my toes until the very end. I hope it makes you too.

6. Avengers- End game:
                                 
Avengers: Endgame,  the climax of 10 years and 20 movies. After the grave course of events set in motion by Thanos wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks, the remaining Avengers and their allies must reassemble to take one final stand and restore harmony to the universe. I loved the special effects and color grading of this movie. I really like the movie because of the previous Marvel cinematic universe movie Avengers: Infinity war made up the hype to watch this movie. As every one know the top grossing film of all time is this movie. This movie had a great epic final battle which will be loved by everyone and this movie is very interesting to watch.

5. Jojo rabbit:
                   
Jojo rabbit is one of my favorite comedy drama movie. During World War 2, an awkward young German boy named Jojo Betzler yearns for escapism and his only friend is an imaginary, ethnically inaccurate version of Adolf Hitler, who pushes Jojo into naively patriotic beliefs. These beliefs are tested however, when a young girl challenges him on those views, causing him to confront his own issues. I really loved the way movie portraits Adolf Hitler and the beautiful message delivered by the movie. Even more the screenplay of the movie is very great and the performance of the actors are up to the task. I love the writing adapted screenplay  and the storyline which gave me a heartfelt moment where I would cry from happiness.

4. Parasite:
               

Parasite is a one of the great thriller movie. The story revolves around an entire family of unemployed adults gets the opportunity of a lifetime when they are introduced to a wealthy family for well paid tutoring jobs, but an unexpected incident threatens to derail their future. The storyline is unpredictable and intrigued to watch. I loved the picture of the movie very much and the perfectly shown the life of rich and poor. "with no plan nothing can go wrong" it is the favorite dialogue in the movie which goes suitable along the screenplay. This movie made a perfect setup for a good heist, emotional buildup for a family drama, unpredictable mystery, and an intense thriller which makes the movie a must watch.

3. Ford v Ferrari:
                          

Ford v Ferrari is a great sport drama movie which I enjoyed a lot. When car companies Ford and Ferrari are pitted against each other in the 1960s, American car designer Carroll Shelby and driver Ken Miles battle corporate interference, the laws of physics, and their own personal demons to build a revolutionary race car for the ford company that would challenge Ferrari at the 24 hours of  Le Mans. Matt Damon and Christian Bale were awesome in their roles and I enjoyed their performances. I loved the precious bond between Carroll Shelby and Ken Miles. This movie is a great movie even non-car enthusiasts like me would enjoy. The soundtrack where simply astonishing.

2. Joker:

           

Joker is my favorite DC dark drama movie. In 1981, Arthur Fleck, a failed stand-up comedian becomes a criminal mastermind known as the Joker when he's disregarded by society and turns to a lif of crime and chaos in Gotham City. Joaquin Phoenix's fabulous performance is the main core success for the film. As a DC fan I felt this movie different from other DC movies because of genre, plot and a great origin for the character. The most favorite part for me is the climax where it relates which Batman which hyped me. The picture and the color grading in this movie is extraordinary. Overall it is enjoyable and interesting great movie to watch.

1. 1917:
           

1917 is the favorite movie for me of the year 2019. A single day of intense violence plays out two British soldiers during World War 1 when they are given an impossible mission by their superiors to deliver a message deep into enemy territory. Additionally, the message has the ability to save thousands of lives, including one of their brothers. I felt like I was with them( characters in the movie). Amazing and sad movie which I absolutely loved it. The movie was extraordinary with amazing visual effects and astonishing soundtrack. I liked the way the actors expressed their feelings towards the life of their comrades, the rest of the characters except the protagonist like Richard Madden, Benedict Cumberbatch and Andrew Scott and. Overall a great war genre movie with a extraordinary combination of love, action and drama.

Nowadays, TV shows are very popular and interesting to watch than movies. I'd say there is no better way to watch a TV series than streaming it online. Here are the best 5 ongoing series that I'd recommend you to watch.

5.The Mandalorian (2019-present):
                                                    
  The Mandalorian is a great science fiction adventure series. Mandalorian is a great warrior and a bounty hunter emerging in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian series is set after the fall of empire and before emergence of first order. This series depicts a lone bounty hunter in the outer space reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the new republic. This series is a great sci-fi adventure series to watch because I feel that Pedro pascal( Mandalorian ) has done a great job here. Pedro Pascal had beautifully expressed the emotions and the feelings of the character with voice modulation as the face of the protagonist  who is always covered with a mask. Thus the acting performance of the protagonist has never been shown. I felt that the special effects are wonderful as it overcomes the special effects of any star wars movies. The other main reason to watch this series is that the intriguing storyline and soundtrack.

The boys is the best sci-fi superhero series. This series is originally based on comics. In a world where superheroes embraces their darker side of their massive celebrity and fame. The Boys centers a group of vigilantes informally known as " The Boys" who set out to take down the corrupt superheroes with a willingness to fight dirt. The main reason I recommend this series is because of the out of the box storyline which really excited me to watch this series very badly. The out of the box thinking of the plot makes this show very interesting and enjoyable to watch. The originality of this series makes this series a very rare one than the rest of other superheroes genre series.

 Dark is the one of the top rated sci-fi mystery series. Dark has a amazing plot which will be loved by every type of  audience. The plot of the series is when two children go missing in a small German town, its sinful past is exposed  along with the double lives and fractured relationships that exist among four families as they search for the kids. The mystery drama series introduces an intricate puzzle filled with twists that includes a web curious characters , all of whom have a connection to the town's troubled history whether they know it or not. The story includes supernatural elements that tie back to the same town in 1986. I really love Dark series because of their perfect photography works, amazing soundtrack which suits the plot of the series, the background and the work of color grading is fabulous. The most important thing is the intriguing plot which makes the series very interesting to watch. If you are a fan of sci-fi genre movies or series you would really like Dark very much.

Peaky blinders is the best ongoing crime drama series. The plot is based on a gangster family epic set set in 1919 Birmingham, England and centers on a gang who sew razor blades in the peaks of their caps, their fierce boss Tom Shelby, who means to move up in the world. I love the cinematography works of this series and the color grading had been done perfectly suitable for the plot of the series. Peaky blinders would definitely impress every audience. The actors like Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy are perfectly suited for their roles and their performances are outstanding. The other main characters are also done their job up to the task. I love the background settings, effects, soundtrack and the costumes very much in this series.

 Stranger things is a extraordinary suspense sci-fi horror series. The story of the series starts when a boy disappears in the small town of Hawkins, Indiana without a trace in 1983. In desperate search, both his family and friends and the local sheriff involved in the extraordinary enigma: top secret experiments, terrifying paranormal forces and a very very rare girl... Stranger things is very good at both horror and humor and I really like is the characters and a very interesting storyline. I also like the soundtrack and suitable background special effects very much.
